It has been a beautiful fall so far....until this week. It is noticable that the sun has gone into hiding. It is rainy and cold and the mornings are dark. It makes me miss the good old days of summer...
When we just kicked back and relaxed.
Where the sports were held outside.
When there was plenty of time to play with the neighbors.
And everyday there seemed a reason to have ice cream.
It was worth squeezing a pile of lemons because the lemonade tasted so good.
And the kids got creative when I was not looking. A little watermelon bowling anyone? (I truly do try to teach my children not to play with their food:)
But who am I kidding, a lot of this stuff happens all year round. I guess it just seems a little better when the sun is shining.
