This was Connor's thought as we drove down our block on the way home from school on this perfect fall day...."So if during the rest of the year everything (the grass, the leaves, and the trees) were yellow, and they did the opposite and turned green in the fall, would we think that green is such a beautiful color?"

I like that thought (especially with the picture), and think that yes, we would. Actually, I think we already do enjoy trees being green, but are used to it.
Love that photo of your block. I am jealous. We sure don't have a block that looks like that. Maybe I will borrow your block for some scrappin' LOL
