Fast And Not Very Furious

Though out his 14 years Connor has entertained us and introduced us to new adventures by his fascination with things. Over the years we have learned about everything from cowboys and bull riding, when he was inthralled with his Fisher Price Western Town, to last summer when we learned everything we need to know about submarines, when he sucked his grandpa into building one with him.

Lately he is like most teenage boys and likes things that are fast. Not only fast cars but fast music. I think it is funny how he shares his finds on Utube with his friends, watching video of Libarace, amazed by his quick fingers and ability to play piano. And he has recently focused in on Steve Martin and his quick picking banjo playing.

So tonight he and Ricky went to the Steve Martin concert at the Pabst Mansion. Great reviews from my boys, and both mentioned that the finale was a banjo version of Steve Martin's "King Tut". I bet that was something to see.
