Little Swimmer

Last night I took these pictures of Delaney at her final swim lesson. They are so fun, not only because I think she is such a little cutie, but because of where the numbers along the pool ended up in the photos. Delaney is five years old and will turn six in June. Notice that there is a 5 in the background of the one picture, and she is sitting in between the 5 and 6 in the other. Staged or by coincidence? I'll never tell, but how appropriate. I can definitely see a scrapbook page in the future.
Anyway, Delaney REALLY, REALLY liked her swim lessons, much because of her silly swim teacher. She was the littlest in the class and the only one who wore a swim cap (her choice by the way). She so wants to be on a swim team like her big sister and she has the look to prove it. On the few occasions that her head was above the water, she did a good job listening and learning her swim skills. So tonight at the final skill test she was told.....SHE PASSED! Yippee! Her little clenched fists went up in victory.... Michael Phelps look out, here comes Delaney.

Are you sure you didn't plop her down between that 5 & 6?? :) That would be a scrapbooker-like thing to do, you know.

Absolutely adorable, of course. You have to tell me again where the lessons are. My kids need an indoor sport. And knowing how to swim would be great, too.
