Flash = Yuck

The picture a day thing is causing some frustration in my life. I guess I seldom take pictures indoors at night. My best photo moments are outside or in natural window light. The past few days I have been forced to take nighttime pictures with the light from my lamps and my usual techniques are not working for me. I really do not like the look that a flash gives to a photo so I have playing around with my settings. I've come to realize that during these 365 days I am going to have to work on my indoor, low light photography. Any pointers send them my way. All I have to say is thank goodness for photoshop.
