Christmas Critters

For the past couple years in December Connor has grabbed a chunk of wood and his pocket knife to whittle me a one of a kind critter ornament. It's amazing what the kid can do with a stick, some paint, and a little crazy glue. In 2007 he created the deer, 2008 was the year of the cow, and this year he made a strung out duck. Mind you the duck comes adorned with feathers pulled directly from seams of my throw pillow.

But this years duck will not make roost on our Christmas tree. He will soon fly to Michigan to make Grandma's Christmas in the hospital a little merrier. Maybe if I hint enough my wonderful son will get the pocket knife out again and whip up another creation for his Mommy.
